You do realize that it’s the party that refuses to argue, i.e., to listen to the other side, that’s the indoctrinated party, right?

You can insert your forefingers back in your ears now, and close your eyes if it helps...

Talk about projection.

>>The Establishment has nowhere left to go. That they cling to Cruz only means he is the last Republican afloat.<<

I agree. He’s the last “Republican” standing, well, except for Kasich who’s barely there anymore.

And if some sage had proclaimed on FR a year ago that Ted Cruz would be in the position he now is and that the GOPe would have thrown in the towel and joined with him, people in here would have been standing and cheering said sage (or else sending him to the looney bin for being detached from all reality.)

How things change....

>>And yet most of them could see themselves supporting Kasich in the general election. That seems bizarre to me.<<

If you think about it, it could speak volumes about what traditional Democrats now think of Hillary Clinton.

Exactly. How many times have we asked the question of whether the GOPe and the Rinos wouldn't hold their noses and vote for the Conservative? As they so often expected us to do with the RINOs they dumped on us.

Now, (and I think there is a lot more behind it than meets the eye) the same people who would have killed to have a candidate like Cruz are going off the rails over a real estate developer with a history of buyi...CONTRIBUTING!, yes contributing to local (Democrat) politicians for fun and profit, including the Hildabeest.

How things change....

Bizarro World..

>>I’m sure there’s a reason Trump isn’t wasting his resources there.<<

Maybe the reason is that he’d have to spend his own money? So far his campaign has relied predominantly on the MSM broadcasting his every word over and over at zero cost to Trump himself. But when it comes to that famous self-funding we keep hearing is one of his biggest attributes, well, it would appear that not enough is being spent.

So you really did mean it when you wrote “last Republican standing”. Good one, and probably true.

This is true. Unfortunately. That is why I am not impressed with this crowing about Cruz taking delegates in CO. He is taking them because the insiders in CO believe that Cruz is going to keep the status quo; they fear Trump and the changes he may bring and their inability to control him.

It's okay.

We got it covered.

Cases of Trump Steaks and Trump Wine.....

....won't be enough.

Fight for the first.
Win on the second.

President Teddy Cruz. (Cruzovelt)? heh.

Well stated. Same impression of Ted initially, but now view him as snake oil salesman only interested in himself.

The GOPe are clinging to Cruz like the last lifeboat.

Their ship sank, along with the host of candidates they shotgunned at the American people.

They even kept a couple in to split votes off Cruz in the face of the insipid attacks which continue via twitter (40% of Americans get their news from twitter or Facebook--isn't that scary). All that has done, imho, is split the 'not trump' vote--they are just as afraid of Cruz getting 1237 as Trump.

While the GOPe is angling for a contested convention, they will support whoever is left in the race to keep Trump from getting 1237 at this point, at least that's how I see it.

I don't think Cruz will make any concessions to them, I think that ball is in the other court.

There’s that, plus if no one else is showing up to their party, why isn’t Cruz getting all of them? The answer is probably similar to Cruz’s “wins” in N Dakota, they exist only in the mind of Cruz. They’re as real as his Chuck Norris endorsement.
