Reagan biographer and public affairs consultant Craig Shirley tells Breitbart News Daily that Cleveland is going to be a city under siege by Left wing protesters protesting Donald Trump and the Republicans when the GOP comes to town to pick its nominee in July.

Craig is one of the better Reagan writers out there.
What are the (unconstitutional) gun laws in Cleveland?
How will the leftist storm-troopers react when Bernie is denied the nomination? Or killed to prevent him from getting nominated? She would do that.
This only helps the Republican nominee.
It would be a real shame if the protesters would happen to spill out into the rural areas.
Why did the stupid GOP pick Cleveland? Why not a solid conservative state?
I’m hearing a sort of concession from the left on a Trump nomination. More and more articles about what’s coming.
They might have figured out that Cruz ain’t their man.
The GOPe thought Cleveland was exemplary of it’s ideals.
I think it was right.
Sounds like the Bikers for Trump need to be in Cleveland in July.
I live in a suburb. Already planning to erect barricades between us and downtown. If they make it past that, I get to taze some hippie ass...
It won’t be just the Left Wing but the Trump Wing isn’t going to go quietly into the night.
They also said that there will be no police department vacation time that week and the neighborhoods of Cleveland will be well policed (that'll be new). They seem confident that they can handle a large convention.
FWIW, the Q (convention site) and the Cleveland Indians station are separated by only a walking concourse paved area. There are no home games for the Indians during convention week or the week before. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that Indians stadium wouldn't be available if the convention situation gets problematic and some folks need a time out.
My sense is that even if they have "downtown" secured, it could get weird at hotel and restaurant environments. The 4AM last call for booze might incite some passions among participants.
All that being said, I'm planning on going "downtown" by bus....but choosing my itinerary carefully.
You've answered your own question. ;-)
Could be because the GOP-e thought Kasich was the “man of the hour”
That's what I have been thinking.......
Move it to NY the day before
The ‘action’ in Philadelphia comes the week after.
Because conservative red states already go red. They always pick purple states. That’s why democrats picked pennsyvania.
Security assets who won't give a fat rat's bladder about the well being of any aggressive snowflakes that get out of line.
I hope he goes that route and makes the Cleveland PD look pathetic.
