I know at least one of the stores smashing out their windows was caught on video. I’ll bet some fairly malicious people are having a good laugh tonight. I hope all of them get caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

What really makes me sad is the sheer gullibility of the managers. It seems to be proven, day after day, story after story, that we’re getting dumber and dumber. Those of us who still have functioning centers of reason and common sense are becoming more amazed...and frightened...every day.

I am becoming more and more convinced that this world...not to mention our country...is done for.

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

Geez, back in the day we thought it was great fun to:

Call the bowling alley and ask them if they had 8 lb balls.

Pick a name out of the phone book and ask if their refrigerator was running.

I don’t ever recall calling a store and asking if they had Prince Albert in a tin though.

Today it is “SWATing” and “knock out your windows”.

It is interesting that it has worked in so many places. Of course when you have 19 year-olds running the phones with probably little real-world experience running the place.....

I imagine the “fear factor” motivates the kids to not think first and just react.

Off-topic, but you know they aren’t the brightest kids when the doors say “These doors must remain unlocked during business hours”.
