...Although, despite his decision to release his tax details, a large mob gathered outside Downing Street today to call for the Prime Minister's resignation.

this sounds huge. Is it?
Legally not really. Politically could be.
He should resign. That’s how big I think it is.
It’s not a huge thing, legally? Like in people do it all the time or there is some loophole that makes it semi legal?
If you compare it to the Clinton crime family’s escapades, it’s nickels :)
maybe the British take this stuff more seriously than we do, as they should.
Sounds like Cameron is as big a LIAR as is Hillary.
Has he had folks killed like her too?
If it were Labour, no one would care. When the Left loses at the ballot box, it figures out other ways to get power, and to stymie the Right in the meantime.
If I understand this correctly, Cameron and Mum tried to save almost 1/3 of his inheritance from the almighty Government.
If this was Winfred, the corner pub owner, I think I would be cheering.
Cameron being PM and a PM that has been aggressive in the fight against the “global scourge of aggressive tax avoidance” is a different story.
Methinks, there really ain’t much difference between the lying thieving hypocrites in London and the lying thieving hypocrites in Washington.
And as for the gift from his mother...jealousy isn't good box office.
I'm assuming everyone on FR is outraged. Why? Remember when Kerry licensed his yacht outside of MA to avoid MA's crazy annual property tax on yachts? Everyone was OUTRAGED.
Your post is dead accurate. He used his power and advantage to hide his wealth. He’d send some poor schlep to prison if he pulled the same thing.
Taxes are for the little people, said Leonia Helmsley.
Sounds like he acted within existing tax laws. No crime here.
I loathe J.F.Kerry, but must straighten something out.
When the elder Bush instituted a 10% LUXURY tax on so-called luxury yachts, the entire boating industry was devastated. Several builder went out of business, while the rest struggled to survive.
The then governor of Rhode Island passed as STATE policy that said that BOATS purchased, registered, and DOCKED within Rhode Island waters were free of the R.I. State SALES TAX.
That law saved some builders and greatly increased the financial health of the entire boating industry.
Millions of dollars are infused into R.I. each year as boaters from around New England and parts of New York drive to their boats on Narragansett Bay, leaving a long trail of money at boatyards, marine supply stores, restaurants, gas stations, package stores and shopping centers.
That Sales Tax elimination proved the point that the REDUCTION of taxes can well result of a vast increase of tax revenue, but from a different direction. My boat is one of those “living” in Rhode Island, but had been bought in the early 1980’s. I paid the tax.
I still don’t like J.F. Kerry
