Face it, Trump has been a liberal most of his life. Right up to the day he starting running for POTUS.

I was not discussing whether Trump is a liberal, I was debating his position on health care which some were agog about given the source of the info against him seems to be individuals who supported most of his points until Trump adopted them too.

Trump is probably socially liberal. He does not ware his liberal side on his sleeve as some do. Meanwhile he promotes the US, was the first one to raise the immigration issues, wants more pro US trade deals to balance out those which are bad, he is not a lawyer, which is a good thing, and he wants to get things done.

So on one side we have a guy who is willing to talk and make win win deals verses one guy who is the equal of standing on a bridge, waiving his arms in the air, and saying I will not budge. I'd be in with the guy on the bridge if he followed that up with it is time for a new system of government but he will not. So being intransigent and adamant on issues is a loser, just like him.

And he’s still a liberal.
