Donald Trump, Losing Ground, Tries to Blame the System

WASHINGTON — Donald J. Trump and his allies are engaged in an aggressive effort to undermine the Republican nominating process by framing it as rigged and corrupt, hoping to compensate for organizational deficiencies that have left Mr. Trump with an increasingly precarious path to the nomination.

Their message: The election is being stolen from him.

On Tuesday, Mr. Trump berated the politicians he said were trying to stop his nomination and denounced the Republican Party, which he cast as complicit in the theft.

“Our Republican system is absolutely rigged. It’s a phony deal,” he said, accusing party leaders of maneuvering to cut his supporters out of the process. “They wanted to keep people out. This is a dirty trick.”

His charges built on comments in the last few days by associates, senior advisers and Mr. Trump himself, seeking to cast a shadow of illegitimacy over the local and state contests to select delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

By blaming the process rather than his own inadequacies as a manager, Mr. Trump is trying to shift focus after Senator Ted Cruz of Texas outmaneuvered him in delegate contests in states like Colorado, North Dakota and Iowa, losses that could end up denying Mr. Trump the nomination.

The UniParty wants the gravy train to head full throttle right on down the rails, so
they can continue to line their pockets with OUR tax money, wall themselves off in
their exclusive gated communities, their private security guards, as the 'RAT and
RINO wings toast each other for watching each other's backs.

I got a 'gated community' for every last one of 'em:

Cruz has lost it fair and square and should step aside for the sake of the country.
If his continued efforts at thievery split and destroy the party, we’ll be saddled by Hillary or burned by Bernie.

Cruz lost the primary vote and is now aiding and abetting the enemy (the GOPe)
in their treasonous attempt to deny the nomination to the winner.
Cruz is a sore loser turned traitor against the grassroots voters.
And the foolish neophyte thinks the GOPe is going to let him have a shot at the presidency if he helps them block Trump?
Laughable if it wasn’t so serious.

Losing ground? he’s gone up almost daily in the NY polls.

He’s at 60 percent!

if that’s losing ground, that’s fine with me.

Their message: The election is being stolen from him.

Hmmm...Nope, it isn't...

Trump knew the rules, he thought they didn't apply to him...

I mean he's Donald Trump after all... rules are for little people like Cruz...Oops...

Finally, he got off his Twitter feed and is paying attention...

Yeah, the process sucks and needs to be addressed, but it sucks for each candidate...

Trump was caught flat footed, but he has addressed that deficiency...to his credit...

Not really sure why he is whining like a 12 years old, it's not going to change the results of any primary or caucus ...

In two successive interviews on national television this Rino operative, Manafort, has been asked to provide evidence of his allegations concerning "Gestapo" tactics in Colorado. His non--answers were utterly pathetic. He has no proof.

He has no proof!

As a matter of fact, he has no allegations!

Trump is expected to take the next 6 primaries where we the people actually vote. Ted will be completly finished.

THE LATEST FROM THE HUMAN COCKROACH: Cruz says “65,000 people voted in the state of Colorado. They just didn’t vote for you Donald Trump. They voted for our campaign."

This is my pet peeve. Cruz is fond of using votes he received (or stole), labeling the votes as an anti-Trump-vote ...but Cruz never applies Trump's voluminous votes as being against him.

If Trump won by staggering numbers....that means Cruz lost by staggering numbers.....many many more rejected Cruz than they did Trump.

Does this look like Trump was rejected?

Trump.....8,256,309.... 37.0 1%....758 delegates

Cruz......6,319,244....28.33%.....533 (plus all he can steal)

Cruz keeps losing and losing. About time he bows out gracefully and admit he lost. And he should stop finagling the numbers.

================================================

Lowlife Ted ....the human cockaroach....is crawling around 24/7 grabbing delegates he is not entitled to.

If there were any failings, it's b/c the Trump people just did not envision the likes of a scumbag like St Ted, reworking the rules to HIS benefit.......the Saint is obsessed w/ Trump hatred, bent on undoing Trump's wins.

AS FREEPER SAM ADAMS76 POSTED: "Cruz would love to have Trump’s 'delegate problems.' Trump is hundreds of delegates ahead and about to ring up a couple hundred more before this month is up. What happened to Cruz’s much ballyhooed “ground game” in the Deep South? He had his head handed to him by a Yankee. I don’t see much Cruz ground game here in New York either. Except for some footprints in the Bronx where he made a rather hasty retreat. I guess Cruz isn’t in Kansas anymore." (hat tip Sam Adams 76)

My biggest gripe is con artist Cruz sees a "party rule" and connives to make it work only to HIS advantage. Crux is exactly the type of candidate w/ an obsessive thirst for power that the Framers of the Constitution wanted the new Nation to guard against.

When candidates lose, they gracefully bow out. St Cruz gives a victory speech. His maniacal lust for power tags him as the kind of candidate the Framers of The Constitution wanted the new Nation to avoid.

'Trump sweeps primaries, but still can't win'!

Frankly, Colorado is history.

It is representative of the efforts of the establishment to keep the grassroots in check.

There is simply no proof of that contention, Manafort was incapable of coming up with any evidence when he was twice asked on national television, Donald Trump himself, as usual, offered only bombast and no evidence.

The reality is quite to the contrary, the grass roots when they were interviewed on radio uniformly recited this was a proper procedure done by average citizens volunteers and in no sense Rino operatives.

The reality is democracy worked on a representative basis through the grass roots just as our Constitution prescribes for the national government.

sCruz is a troll, 60,000 people did not vote in CO.

Trump leads sCruz by over 2 million votes and 200 delegates

Thank you for reminding us of the importance of selecting the better choice for the First Family as well as the best choice for President!

Little appreciation for the upgrade in style and fashion that would quickly follow a Trump victory.

Think about this. First Lady Trump has the chops to match the beloved Princess Dianna in poise and appearance, and would inspire the world let alone the nation!

I just watched the latest town hall with the Donald and his children. The Trumps are a amazing family that will rekindle respect for traditional family values. For those very few non-troll, unpaid supporters of Cruz, you are alone. In bad company.

If there is a “Uniparty” Liberal Donnie is a founding member, he’s given hundreds of thousands to both sides and taken positions ranging from radical Left Wing Socialist to Conservative...though mostly the Left Wing ones mist of his life.

New Yorkers love liberals. They will support Hillary or Bernie November 4th. Trump is their huckleberry in the primary only because he will drag down conservatives.

that’s silly.

He very likely wont win it in the generals, but this is the primary, and he will get 1237.

Cruz couldn’t win the southern states.

He would get the least electoral votes in 50 years.
