I don’t know why you’re asking me, but,
somewhere around 2008-12 (well before 2016, anyway), the state of Colorado changed the law there so that party primaries no longer would be held in taxpayer-funded general election facilities. The parties either had to pay — or set up their own, party-only facilities. They did the latter, or, at least, the GOP did.
My understanding is that the CO GOP selects delegates based on ... follow me here:
- a state delegate vote, among delegates chosen by
- votes in every county, by delegates chosen (within each county) by
- votes by precincts in each county, by registered party members.
Nothing secret or sneaky, although it is more complex than a simultaneous statewide vote.
You have no honor, comparing Trump’s serial adultery, about which he bragged, to the doings of Cruz’s parents before he was even born. You are lower than dirt and are anathema to me.
The truth hurts, eh?
Your case of butt hurt is duly noted.
See my post #31 re; your adored Cruz!!!
NEWS FLASH: this is how the pros play the game.
==========================================
The infantile Cruz is always shooting off his mouth .... blasting Donald.....never telling voters what his positions are.
That's b/c Cruz has no positions....he will do whatever the GOPeers tell him to do.
The rules are made to discourage grassroots participation.
The man is ahead in all the polls, and these basta*ds say his campaign is fading.
No, lies hurt. Your lack of honor and conservatism is duly noted.
>Mr. Trump inspires many, but hes clueless about how to run an effective primary campaign. I doubt he has started putting together his general election strategy.
He’s winning voters and states left and right. If there someone who doesn’t know how to run a campaign it’s Cruz with his endless stream stupid statements like NY values and continually losing with the voters.
>Just curious. Did Colorado have a repug primary or caucus in 2012? Or was it a convention like 2016?
>If they did have a caucus/primary in prior years, why did they change it this year? Help me understand?
In 2012 they held the primary and had a Straw poll of which candidate the voters wanted. The results were Santorum winning with 60% in the poll but Romney getting 80-90% of the delegates due to CO GOP corruption. This looked bad to the RNC and to voters everywhere, so they told CO to make the straw poll binding similar to how Iowa works. The corrupt CO GOP hated giving up their power, so they ended the straw poll but kept the delegate selection system.
Once again they selected entirely without the will of the people but this time gave all the delegates to Cruz.
What do you know about RINOs? You don't even live in this hemisphere. Butt out and take care of your German problems.
My reply which was not even addressed to you was posted a week ago.
Your personal insults are gratuitous, irrelevant, and quite revealing of your psychological state.
