Yerba Buena is an old town and was named for the mint

Weed is still called yerba buena here, as is the common mint-but there is no town by that name nearby...

Here, only visiting tourists and city people say “gay” to refer to a puto/maricon-the rest of us say “homosexual” or “lesbian” when being polite-and most use one of the non-PC slang terms when talking to those we know...
