“Great idea! Why didn’t Obama and Hillary think of it, they could have offered Russia a “reset.””

That was nothing more than a cynical way of insulting Bush, who actually did have friendly relations with Russia. When Bush was here, Russia sent a 9/11 statue memorial. More substantially we were given free use of a former Soviet airbase for logistical support to Afghanistan. That’s as in FREE, with no lease, no nothing. Just handed us the keys.
They let us move by rail completely across Russia when the Pakistani land routes were under attack.

To Hillary and Obama, reset was an attack on Bush. They then got busy with the homosexual advocacy and using NGOs to forment street rabble in Russia. The goal was actually a giant pro EU color revolution there.
And now we have a new cold war.

No, there was no “reset” offered.

I think Trump and his business mentality is precisely what we need.

I suspect the Russians love Trump for another reason: he is the only major US presidential candidate - at least as far as I know - to question US participation in NATO.

I like Trump most because he has all the right (despicable) enemies, not the best friends. Putin’s virtue is dubious but he is no Checkist and gives accurate critique of the decay of the west. He is a Nationalist like Trump and doesn’t brooke PC.

Sometimes it appears there is no lesser weevil - but that’s just a reflection of the culture the political process is festering within.

If We the People aren’t responsible for that, then who is?

Onward and Upward!

Looks like most of new York State was also wrong.

The list keeps growing.

Pretty soon, most of the voting public will be wrong.

A few intelligent ones may still be found, who will of course still be right.

If he can convince enough of the voting public to yield 1237 delegates, Donald Trump should be the nominee. If he cannot, and in succeeding ballots he cannot, but Ted Cruz can, then Ted Cruz should be the nominee.

But let all be done in good order and according to the rules that nominated Abraham Lincoln because Donald Trump as a human being or as a standardbearer for the conservative cause is not worth subverting any rules.

However, that would mean 1237 delegates would have to wrong according to some even on this very site, No?

That is what we old-fashioned constitutionalists call freedom of conscience.

That is what we old-fashioned constitutionalists call freedom of conscience.

I see.

As opposed to the millions who obviously have no freedom of conscience, since they wrongly support the one D. Trump, for president.

Not a single old fashioned constitutionalist among them mouth breathers.

Say, where would they get the idea that the one with the most votes gets to win the election?

Where to they get off to think that their opinion accounts for something, and that what they think may have any merit or worthiness in and of itself?

Silly people, them obvious non old fashioned constitutionalists.

They should simply acquiesce that they know nothing, and remove them selves from the voting public, and let those who know better make choices for them, you know, like them old fashioned constitutionalists, who are never mistaken, on anything.

Just ask them, oh, and review the last 40 years to see their wonderful choices for governing this one great country.

Oh, and just to show you there are no hard feelings, and I understand your vision of intelligent contenders for the presidency so well, here is a perfect example of Mr. R Cruz campaigning for the presidency.

https://vine.co/v/iFvq6PlnaVj

Such intelligence does not hurt at all, for him nor his supporter's brains.

As opposed to the millions who obviously have no freedom of conscience, since they wrongly support the one D. Trump, for president.

If there are millions of them, and they openly support a candidate such as Trump, they obviously have freedom of conscience.

Not a single old fashioned constitutionalist among them mouth breathers.

Where in the world would you get that idea, not from me.

Say, where would they get the idea that the one with the most votes gets to win the election?

From the rules that have governed Republican nominating contests since Abraham Lincoln and before.

Where to they get off to think that their opinion accounts for something, and that what they think may have any merit or worthiness in and of itself?

That question is incomprehensible.

Silly people, them obvious non old fashioned constitutionalists.

That assertion rests on false predicates.

They should simply acquiesce that they know nothing, and remove them selves from the voting public, and let those who know better make choices for them, you know, like them old fashioned constitutionalists, who are never mistaken, on anything.

That whole jumbled paragraph contrives to state the reverse of what I said.

Just ask them, oh, and review the last 40 years to see their wonderful choices for governing this one great country.

I give up.
