The Donald’s Diversity Deconstructed
Accuracy in Academia ^ | April 18, 2016 | Cliff Kincaid

If Trump were to actually win the Republican nomination and become president, it's questionable whether his policies would be in any sense Republican. Indeed, his foreign policy would be even more pro-Russian than that of Obama and Hillary.

In this regard, the media are slowly but surely telling the truth about The Donald's love affair with Russia's Vladimir Putin and exploring his business ties to the Kremlin. Consider some recent headlines:

• From Russia with love: why the Kremlin backs Trump (Reuters)

• Trump's New Russia Adviser Has Deep Ties to Kremlin's Gazprom (Bloomberg)

• Russia Hearts Donald Trump (Daily Beast)

• Trump: "I want to get along with Russia" (Russia Today)

It is also apparent that Trump's business dealings with Communist China would continue, despite Ivanka's scarves violating the federal flammability standard.

Harvard professor Robert Lawrence analyzed the entire Ivanka Trump fashion line of shoes, dresses, purses and scarves, and concluded that 628 of the 838 Ivanka products are said to be imported and 354 made specifically in China.

Donald Trump's own clothing line of suits and ties are also made in China.

However, on his official website for the campaign, Trump says his "Make America Great Again" baseball cap is "proudly made" in the USA. It sells for $30.

Do you ever wonder if Trump is only in it to sell those damned hats?

Would it be a bad thing to develop a de facto alliance with Russian at this point?

As it is, the Current Regime has pretty much become the VASSAL to Putin’s Russia, there being no parity in the relationship. The territory once known as “the United States of America” has been reduced to a shell and a mockery of what it once stood for, and Putin can pretty much call shots as he sees them, without fear of successful retaliation by the Current Occupant.

As an ally, Russia would be compelled to offer much more deference to the government of the USA, and actually have some basis for negotiating a peaceful settlement of differences. Retreat and preemptive surrender are the very antitheses of a winning strategy, and definitely not the earmarks of any kind of ally.

The only Trump hats made abroad are knock offs. So no, that is just as silly an argument as much of the article you started the thread with.

TARP...open borders...ROP...funding Obamacare...TAP...TPP...These are just some of the "Republican" policies that are the exact reason that groups like the tea "party" rose up and why Trump is running.

Great idea! Why didn't Obama and Hillary think of it, they could have offered Russia a "reset."

There is evidently no absurdity which Trump supporters will not indulge in order to rationalize the obvious deficiencies of Donald Trump.

Putting aside the preposterous nature of this policy, the real question is do you want a president of the United States deciding foreign policy based on a very myopic understanding of the world, entirely circumscribed by his business dealings?

Where does the vaunted "patriotism" of the great Donald Trump leave off and cupidity begin?

(Reuters) (Bloomberg) (Daily Beast) (Russia Today)

For a “conservative” blog they certainly reference a lot of leftist sources.

If you don’t like the “damn hats” don’t buy one.

We should be allied with Russia instead of Al Qaida. Putin is the only world leader interested in saving Christendom. What a sorry state.

I don’t follow this.

We were absolute enemies of Germany and Japan in WWII. After we destroyed Germany and Japan, we became their allies.

Russia today is not the Soviet Union anymore. The technically lost the cold war (although the USA squandered that victory with the piece dividends).

A new relationship should be explored.

The Warhawk Liberals are almost calling for a preemptive strike on Russia. Democrats have not found a war they did not like or one that they thought through.
But after a lot of tough talk, they settle for a bad deal for America.
Reading what Mr.Trump has said, the process is to strengthen our economy, rebuilt the gutted, demoralized military and then negotiate with Russia from a strong position.
Unlike the hapless, ignorant Mr. Obama, Mr. Trump will attend the daily security briefing and unlike Mz Clinton , Mr. Trump will be available when the 2 AM phone rings.

It was in fact explored and it was spurned by Vladimir putin. Hence my sarcastic remark:

Great idea! Why didn't Obama and Hillary think of it, they could have offered Russia a "reset."

You are right. It is better to be at least on friendly terms than to have another Cold War. My family has a small business which does business with the Russians. The ones who come over here are very nice people who love to go to Wal Mart to stock up on jeans. The spend hours at the stores. Do not try to out drink vodka with them though. : ). After my husband died, the cosmonauts called to let us know how much they enjoyed doing business with him.

Great comedy by the idiot Kinkaid. This childish mentality is precisely why I will vote for Trump. As for the Russians, maybe Trump will get along with them and we can avoid a whole new cold war. The last one was fairly expensive and bloody. Lasted 45 years.

Don’t forget Paul Ryan and the Washington Elite Republican Cartel’s OMNIBUS bill, which gave to Obama EVERYTHING he wanted, including funding for bringing in unlimited numbers of trojan horse Syrians, Somalis, muslims, Mexican hard core gangs, terrorists-—and to pay to RESETTLE them here. That’s just ONE thing in the Omnibus. It blew up the budget and blew up the deficit. How in Hades stupid Cruzers could crawl back to these guys, like the batter wife who has the sh!t beat out of her every two years, I’ll never know.

The Russia part? Yeah, it's called the peace dividend, after we, like Reagan---same philosophy---have a military so strong and modern no one would dare raise a hand against us.

This column, the portion about Russia, is PURE NEOCON, which needs never-ending war to enrich the Elite Globalists. They out themselves, as Cruz did years ago, as pure Globalists and rabid anti-nationalists.
