One almost envisions a study of psychology growing up around the delusions of the Cruz victims.

Ted loses by a landslide, then describes it as a bit win. His followers echo his version of events.

Ted is mathematically eliminated from getting the 1237 delegates before the convention, but they think he’s winning.

Ted cant win primaries (well almost) in his own party, but thinks he can win general elections when he has to face members of another party too. His followers nod their heads up and down in agreement, with big glazed look smiles.

Ted has to join with the GOPe/RNC to win highly controlled caucuses. His followers who used to act like they hated the GOPe/RNC are thrilled.

Suddenly fair and open elections are described as highly suspect ways to pick a nominee.

At the same time, closed caucuses where Ted gets 100% of the delegates are described as more wholesome ways to pick a nominee.

Charges against Ted with very detailed evidence or substantive materials, are dismissed, and candidates and their supporters are attacked even though they didn’t have anything to do with the charges.
