This is happening because Americans are exercising their free will to avoid the burdens of child-rearing; I don’t think God was lecturing Americans (though He certainly knew what would transpire thousands of years later).
Ye cannot serve both God and Marx. It was the latter who deemed child-rearing a “burden” and called for “abolition of the family”.
