Trump can win this election by pulling in working class white voters who have typically voted Democrat since the 80’s.

It really is time for Cruz to drop out. He has 2 wins among the top 20 most populous states -- 2! -- Texas and Wisconsin. And Wisconsin's #20.

He's picking up delegates in low population red states and that is all. No battleground states (not even remotely close), no purple states.

Independents couldn’t vote for Trump in the primary. There are three times as many independents as Democrats who voted for Hillary.

Latest CT polling on RCP has Cruz under 20%.

Correct. Remember in NY, only registered Democrats and Republicans, closed primary. No independents, no crossovers.

So will Trump win NY in Nov? In my opinion, a 1 in 4 chance, depending on how damaged Clinton is by then.

Can Trump get within 5% in NY, forcing Clinton to spend resources there that would have gone otherwise to battleground states like OH, FL and VA? In my opinion, greater than 50/50.

Clinton will get the NY electoral votes, but it won’t be a gimme, which is probably the best the GOP can hope for in this election cycle.

Hillary won by 15 points. Trump won by 35.

Hillary the adopted home state girl, failed to rout The Bern throughout the state.

Hillary is already damaged.

She did worse last night than in 2008 against a guy named Barack Obama.

Not to take anything away from her win but there’s the added humiliation the networks waited sometime to make the projection.

How is it Hillary lost upstate to Sanders and every county around NYC?

Did not know that. I would have thought she would have done better than in 2008.

Don’t worry, in two weeks they’ll announce that Cruz in fact will be getting the NY delegates not Trump. It will all be legal and legit as per rules set by the GOP.

Cruz/Bush 2016!

Awesome! Two liberals won each primary in an uber-liberal state!

You're clueless as to the demographics of NY ... I lived in Tioga and Broome counties for years ...

They are very conservative counties ... Trump won both of them big, and Cruz came in 3rd in each.

Its our only hope because I can’t think of any GOP name that would hold onto Trumps base AND attract more

I can think of multiple scenarios that would get Trump past Hillary in NYS. I can’t think of a single one that would work for Cruz.
