No reform is possible. Any reform would constitute an entirely new religion and reformers incur a death penalty to be carried out at any time by any Moslem. There are several of these “reformed” Moslem religions already i.e. Sikhs and Alawites and Druzes etc.

Yet - there are Muslim reformers, like Zhudi Jasser, who get it but will never get an audience because he is considered an apostate.

Maybe Hirsi Ali will become Islam’s Martin Luther. It’s about time some brave Muslim nails 95 theses to the mosque door. Martin Luther's movement was a back to the basics, back to the original text movement. ISIS is the equivalent back to the basics, back to the text movement.
