Like bugs to a zapper, let’s hope all the “contested convention” posers come to the zot party.
RIP, bigun!
AMEN!!!
Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result.
Have WE become insane to think that electing MORE lawyers, politicians and theoretical academics to clean up the mess created by OTHER lawyers, politicians and theoretical academics will work?
The Presidency is called the EXECUTIVE BRANCH for a reason. While there MAY still be time to save what’s left of America the IDEA perhaps we should consider electing an ACTUAL EXECUTIVE who has built and run a successful BUSINESS ENTERPRISE and, because he can READ A BALANCE SHEET AND P&L STATEMENT, KNOWS WHEN THINGS ARE GOING SOUTH?
I see now this election was never was about conservatism and country for Ted Cruzs fan club.
Better a fan club than a cult.
LOL. I was being kind. And this is what I get back?
How about you take your blacklisting goosestepping GOPe enabling cult and put it where the sun don’t shine? The rebellion is on. Good day, FRiend.
“I’m rubber and you’re glue” ... Good one, Texas noob.
LOL...you’re keeping count ;-)
2ndDivisionVet here boy, come to the light.
Amen! Whatever their motives, the GOP-e has shown themselves to be an electoral disaster in the making.
We need those downstream congressional, state, and local elections, or else the presidential win will be only symbolic. We need substance over symbolism; a substantial return to sanity at every level of government.
“Trump with around 43 % of the republican voters (33% traditional , 10% nontraditional) and Cruz with about 30 percent of the traditional republican voters is around 73 % combined. Just about as a good a unity ticket as one could ask for.”
I don’t agree with the assumption that a combined ticket would mean combined voter totals. Bush Sr came in second and got the Veep slot, but had very little impact in Reagan’s landslides. Cruz’s support is eroding by the day, so he brings less to the table than he did a few months ago.
Yeah. I guess I better change my tagline and get my mind right (again) before I get the zot, right?
You have to consider that Trump is not the professional politician we have grown accustomed in our body politics. He is no sweet talking JFK (who probably wrote the book on adultery) or der Slickmeister, Bill Clinton. He is from the business world, which operates on a very competitive level. Know for certain, Donald Trump will stick up for the United States of America. He has the toughness to fight for our freedoms. I know, because I grew up in a construction family. My father did not mince words and was as tough as the concrete used to build stadiums. Because of that, our family was very successful with his eight kids. The governor of the State of Washington once asked him if he would run for President of the United States. My father declined because his eight kids were more important.
It is time to consider our nation before the political games and the nit picky focus on choice of language. We need to unite now and throw our efforts together against a mortal cancer embodied in the Beast, der Hildebeast who will take away our freedom to use any language we choose or any freedom guaranteed by the Constitution.
I have read so many pundits and members of the GOPe declare if Trump or Cruz get the nomination they will lose the Senate and/or the House. I think the opposite. So many people are chomping at the bit to vote for a candidate that will stop the immigration problem and at least temper our out of control government they will elect many more true conservatives into office and we will gain seats in both the Senate and House.
. The people talking doom are the GOPe types who see their gravy train possibly ending and are trying to scare us into voting GOPe.
Just my opinion.
You’re doin’ a real good job, there, with a site that insists on showin’ me a really slimy anti-Cruz ad.
Libbylu’s was THE worst. I said so at the time and stick by that.
You might be right, but given that a lot of the Cruz fans seem to be very loyal, I would prefer not to lose those votes if possible.
I see some accounts have already been suspended for people are leaving, I guess we have reached the point of no return, if that’s the case Trump all the way.
Trump clown parade?
Well, bye.
Trump has created more jobs and covered a YUGE payroll.
cRuz the ‘CONservative’ has NEVER created ONE job...and has done nothing but live off of the government/tax payers and PACs.
All right, I’m for Trump. For me it has always been between the two. Go Trump!
Me too, but we are gaining lots of people who have previously shut out politics as well...
