Dresden Germany, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki etc. These were firebombings and the last two atomic bombings. It was terror raids of destruction, death, horror, agony and pain. Terror works. If it did not, we would not have terrorism as an integral part of the fighting in the Middle East and elsewhere.
It was moral as it broke the will of the enemy to resist. What one must always remember in "real war" there is no morality. If there was morality there would not be a war.
