Yes, I have it too and I don’t think it’s particularly significant. That is, I don’t have it all the time, but it gets provoked by anything from pollen allergy to a cold.
A doctor told me that acid reflux (a nighttime condition that most people don’t know they have) could cause it and to try to deal with that problem. So the only thing that does help is to remember to take one of the acid-reducing meds before bedtime, but I often forget it because I hate taking meds.
It’s not her health issues: it’s her moral and political issues.
I take a pill for low thyroid - I hear that can cause a cough sometimes. (Can’t recall now if it is the pill, or the low thyroid!) I’ll cough once, and sometimes it turns into 15 minutes of uncontrolled coughing. A dose of Delsym and 3 or 4 cough drops later the cough is gone - but my throat is sore for the next day.

Prescription Prevacid works for me. Caffeine is one of the worst offenders.
