The point of the column is that the left intimidates its enemies into lying to themselves. They start off with smallish lies, like "all cultures are equal." Such an assertion forty years ago was acceptable only on college campuses. Now, it is accepted across society.

In time, the majority will just keep to themselves as the lies and outrages grow to enormous proportions.

The real game here is to break the will of those ordinary people so they won’t resist even more social engineering.

It is how once free societies end up totalitarian.
