I paid five bucks for a $100 trillion Zimbabwe bill last year just to have one. Beautiful thing, really. Joke's on me - they're honoring them again, and the thing is worth about 40 cents.

It doesn't surprise me that socialists can screw up an economy, what astonishes me is that they always seem to find another crowd of gullibles willing to give them another chance. That guy with the Bernie bumper sticker? Yep. Him.

I have WHOLE stacks of those 100T bills. It reminds me of the power of corruption, communism, racism, and inflation. I give them as gifts.

the 100T Zimbabwe bill was worth about $350.oo the day it came out. By the end of the day it was worth $250.00. 30 days later, it was less than $5.00. 90 days after issuance it couldn't buy you a cup of watered down coffee. ($ 0.30). They switched to the SA Rand it was so worthless.

Now the Zimbabwean bills are worth more as collector/novelty than they were when they were under Commie control.
