Exploiting Christianity for votes.
Awesome.
According to the Word of God? Cruz is in the Bible? That’s news to me.
“I Implore Every Member of the Body of Christ to Vote According to the Word of God.”
From the lips of a pastor, that seems like a good thing to say. Ted Cruz’s dad is not a politician; he’s a pastor. Pastors *should* encourage biblically-informed voting.
In Castro’s name...
Writing Hillarys ads, should Ted lie ad cheat his way into the nomination.
Translated from tongues.
Concur. Although we are to be a Nation Under God, we (unfortunately) are not a nation led by God. Godly men and women should lead but there is a distinct supply deficiency in that arena. I have considered running for office but would be woefully out of my element. Understandably many refrain from entering into politics in large part due to what the media would do to their families.
Trump may or may not be a Godly man, but he is a business man that wants the USA to be first and is unapologetic with that regard. He voices what millions hold in their hearts.
Will Jesus take him home if people vote for Trump?
If Ted hadn’t been so consistent in violating “Thou Shalt not bear false witness”, he would have had my vote.
How any Christian that really understands the Bible could vote for a Democrat (or a RINO) is a mystery to me. The Democrat worldview and the Bible are irreconcilable.
Cruz, the head snake handler has no shame.
this guy is going to be biting the heads off snakes soon.
If God was willing to tell us how to vote, wouldn’t he tell us to vote for Him?
Fine with me just keep the false profits bit in mind.
As a Christian, I find this very offensive.
“...vote according tot he Word of God.”
Word is, God likes Trump.
Clear your path to hell, vote for Trump? God tells me that there will be a place for me in Valhalla if I vote for Trump.
It would be good if everyone remained calm and thought about the whole situation carefully. Here are some points for such consideration:
1) Rafael Cruz is not running for president.
2) Rafael Cruz is about as theologically discerning as Glenn Beck, and should be accorded the same amount of credibility ... none.
3) Rafael Cruz has no standing whatever with large swaths, if not a majority, of Christians in this country; and what he is saying is plainly nonsensical and, yes, unscriptural and irresponsible.
4) Rafael Cruz is not Ted Cruz.
5) Rafael Cruz is Ted’s father whether Ted likes it or not.
6) Rafael Cruz is to theology what Bernie Sanders is to economics, both would be more respected than they are now if they simply stopped talking.
Picking according to the word of God. Carter and Bush were both fine Christian men. No, I will not vote that way. It’ll piss a few off I’m sure, but preachers should leave government to other men and stick to preaching.
