Humans are strange creatures, and there are many possibilities for people to reach opposing conclusions. A powerful influence is "peer pressure." Most people will adopt a point of view they KNOW is wrong, given the right kind of pressure, which can be nothing more than fitting in with their friends.

You did good to politely excuse yourself. Political persuasion is a sure fire way to kill friendship.

My best friend was a Rubio or Cruz supporter, literally yelled at me a month ago that Trump was a liar, fake and every name in the book. I just let her rattle on. I don’t take it personally as she hates Hildabeast.

Here in Wisconsin, I still think something was fishy abut our election being so lopsided for Cruz. Of course, Ryan, Prebus and Scott Walker all helped Cruz.

BUT...... I believe that Janesville, home of Paul Ryan lost Rock County to Trumpster. One joyous tidbit, FYI.
