AUSTIN — With Donald Trump now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, former President George W. Bush “does not plan to participate in or comment on the presidential race,” a spokesman said Wednesday.

...

And George W. Bush — whose decision was first reported by The Associated Press – isn’t the only one in his family who will be sitting out the election. A spokesman for George H.W. Bush told The Texas Tribune that the former president is “retired from politics.”

“He came out of retirement to do a few things for Jeb,” Bush 41 spokesman Jim McGrath told the media outlet. “But those were the exceptions that proved the rule.”

No surprise there. After all, Jeb was entitled to be President.

No Bushes is a good thing. I would consider their endorsement and/or presence an attempt to sabotage.

What a bunch of petty hypocrites. When a Bush or another establishment candidate gets the nomination, they expect libertarian or populist candidates and their supporters to bow down and endorse them. Now that the shoe's on the other foot, they feel absolutely no need to reciprocate the "favor."

With any luck, the Bush name will the Mudd (and mud) after this election. Little Jorge Prescott can go back to stalking ex-girlfriends in his speedos and forget about running for governor and President.

Jeb, meanwhile, will be sulking and squatting over in the far corner of the room, eating paste. ;)

W. has largely been keeping a low political profile since leaving office, and Papa Bush is in too poor health for much participation to be expected anyway. What I hope they don’t do, is to release negative remark after negative remark on Trump while talking to the press. That would be deliberately destructive.

Well as Laura Bush said, she’s voting for the HILDERBEAST...good for her and the Bushes because of the past criminal history of both of these families, they should stick together!!!

“28 pages ring a bell???”....

Enjoy your retirements, Mr Presidents. If you change your mind, which will likely happen, the door is open.

Well, you wouldn’t expect W. to speak negatively about a good democrat like Obama, would you?

The ‘neverTrumps’ around here are clearly on the Bush/GOPe/Uniparty team.

In the 2000's, Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush were almost inseparable travel companions, organizing fundraisers and giving talks around the world together for/to various globalist organizations. I'm sure it brought back many fond memories of the time they worked together helping drug runners in Mena, Arkansas.
