I’m overweight. It’s not good for me & I seriously need to lose some pounds. Normal body weight means what it means: better health and a pleasing appearance. I will never stop trying to lose weight & reject any notion of a `new normal’ when it comes to overweight, which is what it is.

I'm overweight as well, but without this book, I might be 220 pounds instead of around 200.

I agree with you, by the way. I find my own extra fat disgusting, but I guess I enjoy food too much.

Your not alone, same here. I need to lose it for getting my health better and to look presentable, especially when your job searching. I agree, I do not accept that this should be the normal, but it doesn’t give other people the right to be rude, and believe me I had my share.

I simply don’t understand how many who are overweight can say “accept it” just like these Fativist.
