Zimmerman never owned a gun until he and his wife tried to go for walks around their apt. complex. A dangerous dog would come at them. He was going to buy some pepper spray, but his cop friend told him that wouldn’t do any good and would only make the dog more angry. The cop recommended Z get a little Keltech, cheap but decent enough to take on vicious animals out to do harm... which Trayvon found out first hand.
