I went the Sisters of Mercy homepage ...
here
and saw that they are big into social justice and that they have a quote from Robert Frost. It's a good quote, to be sure, but it ain't the Bible nor an authoritative document nor the "Fathers," nor even their founder.

So I think we can hazard a guess on their docility to the Magisterium.

Pontiac, I don't know, but I don't think they need conservative Catholics to survive. All they need is rich Catholics, of which group Pelosi is a member. Or the order could have a fat bank account.

Don't get me wrong. As a Catholic, I am all about social justice, as it has been set forth in Scripture and in a series of long but for the most part good encyclicals. The tension of the paired concepts of solidarity and subsidiarity is immensely helpful to me, not only in my thinking but in looking at how I respond to the needs I see around me. As a wise teacher once said to me, "This is how we bring peace on earth: one person at a time."

Sad

I guess I should have guessed that a SF Catholic girls school would be of the Leftist variety.

I just didn’t think that Leftist parents would want their daughter to go to a all girls school.
