What’s a levin? Is that some kind of stomach ailment or maybe a cancer?

I think a “levin” is some kind of inner-thigh rash. Isn’t that what he calls it? “Oh,jeez,can you believe it, I’ve got a levin on my leg.” Damn, I hate when that happens.
