Cruz is now officially done in politics. He will never win re-election in Texas. His wife, who clearly despises him, will leave him. His kids hate him too. I project a descent into alcoholism.

He would have done better for himself, the party, and the country, if he had gone into seclusion for a few weeks to deal with the upset of losing.

What a disappointment Cruz has turned out to be.
Disappointing, but Cruz has been showing his true colors repeatedly this entire election season. I would have expected nothing less from him, or from his followers who have treated Senator Sessions very badly also. At this point Cruz will not be happy unless he is congratulating President Hillary.
Cruz is working his way toward a 100% disapproval rating.
Cruz blew it. A lot of Republicans were favorably disposed towards him at the beginning of the primaries. His debate performances failed to match the hype. Rather than articulating a conservative counterpoint to Trump, he focused on day to day nonsense. When he went along with libs and blamed Trump for violent protestors, he lost his credibility. He’s a little, or maybe a lot, tone deaf.
As Carson says, an “almost incomprehensible” level of arrogance. Cruz needs the same rebuke as Sasse got in Nebraska. Wonder if that would give him pause to stop his campaign mischief. What a loser, both him and anyone still stupid enough to support him.
Cruz never has endorsed Trump and he has signed a pledge stating that he would. There is a similar article on the Dallas convention that state nearly half the delegates left and did not stay to hear Jeff Sessions speak.
That’s a shame since he came all the way from Alabama to support and speak on Donald Trump’s behalf.
I guess he could always get a gig with Glenn Beck helping Beck ridicule and make fun of people who call the show.
Someone will need to reclaim conservatism from teddy. The putz is giving conservatism a bad name.
He’s not going to let go until there actually is a Republican nominee and it’s not him. Holding on until the bitter end.
