Do you think they will let Cruz take the podium and give a speech? I hope not! I wonder who decides who gets to make a speech? Probably GOPe Ryan.
Hopefully Trump keeps him off the stage. We really don’t need Cruz making the convention all about him— which is what he’d do.
He came in 2nd in the primary, so I suspect they’ll let him speak at the convention. Not everyone in the country thinks as poorly of him as the majority of this forum seems to.
After his lying about trump, his comments blaming the violent agitator mobs in Chicago and elsewhere on trump, and his disingenuous claims to know nothing about the melania ad his PAC ran in Utah - his podium time is doubtful
No, Ted Cruz signed a pledge to support the GOP nominee. He has said he can't support Trump, he is a stealth #NeverTrump er. He can go the hell along with Mitt, Ryan, Will and Levin.
The presumptive nominee is usually the one to run the Convention. I personally doubt Cruz will be allowed to make a speech at the Convention without first publicly endorsing Donald Trump. If he can't bring himself to publicly endorse Trump, then he should not (and likely will not) be allowed to speak at the Convention.
