There are many of us who want to be able to respect the members of the LGBT community as good Americans, but they must get REAL for that to happen. Americans believe in tolerance. Taking offense at every perceived slight will not win LGBT community any friends. A sense of humor though would improve their image and our tolerance.

Certain LGBT-ers as well as some members of other "protected classes" need to realize that getting offended for the sake of getting offended is no way to go through life.
