Leftists appropriated the term, ‘liberal’, to mask who and what they really are, and to make themselves appear non-threatening to normal westerners. The modern left doesn’t meet the classical definition of what a liberal is, in any shape or fashion.
Oddly enough, we conservatives do.
Everything about the modern ‘liberal’ left is a lie from top to bottom. There’s nothing gay, tolerant, inclusive, liberal, or enlightened, about them.
Agree on all points. Ben Franklin was a liberal, a far cry from today’s left.
