The lady from MO is a Truman democrat (she says "conservative" but that's what it means), and I've been writing on FR for almost a year that Trump is a Truman democrat, the kind of man my Democrat-for-life WWII vet father would have voted for. Americans in general are not conservative ideologues, though on the left they are all either ideologues or useful idiots; they are git-r-dun people, and that is what Trump has been proclaiming since the beginning of his campaign.

Those of us who are conservative ideologues are on his train, because among other reasons it is the one train that will keep us from falling into Venezuela or becoming the 21st century version of the USSR.

I first listened to rush in 1989… Was a devoted listener for all these years. It’s sad really, I simply can’t tolerate him anymore. To me, he’s become so Transparently “commercial”… Bought and paid for by his station owners.

... I almost feel betrayed …...by someone I thought of as a friend. I know it sounds dumb, but thats how I feel.

I’m pretty sick of rush arguing with his invisible co-host. It’s like listening to one side of a phone conversation: irritating. And his voice is almost always combative and angry. Who needs that?
