Dozens of people fanned out Saturday to continue looking for a 15-year-old California girl who was abducted by a 19-year-old man, later shot dead by police.
Search teams are focusing on an area near the Northern California town of Jenner. It's about 65 miles from where a witness saw Pearl Pinson abducted at gunpoint from a pedestrian bridge near her home in the Bay Area community of Vallejo on Wednesday morning.
"She was forced into that car," Rose Pinson said through tears Friday, desperate to find her younger sister.

People that commit these actions need to be dealt with most harshly, there needs to be a deterrent.
I maybe wrong but I’m getting the impression she is already crossed over to the other side. I do see that she has been sexually assaulted and I do see her near or by water more like a canal.
I do pray she is ok but I doubt it. It is painful for me to read this story because this reminds me of my friend whom both were 15 at that time. She was murder and was found floating in the Pacific Ocean back in 1980 near the Golden Gate Bridge. Her murder is still unsolved and I don’t think it will ever be like countless of others.
Given that a gunshot was heard when she was kidnapped, and blood was found at the scene, and the miscreant attempted to flee to Mexico without her, I'd say the prognosis is grim.
Well if she was moving / running away when the sbot was fired hopefully she just got winged.

I know but people have harder time getting a good shot on a moving target under low stress range conditions. Much less a situation like this.
