“Free the Indianapolis 500!”
Got it on. Attended in person in 1981. Infield at exit of turn 4. My room mate in college had a relative in Indy that let a race official use the lift in his garage. Drove up from Florida and we all got in free as family of that official about an hour before anyone else was admitted. We were right on the fence.

James Hitchcliffe on the pole. He was almost killed in a practice crash last year at Indy. He hit the wall and a suspension piece pierced the chassis and went through both of his legs at the upper thigh. He lost vital signs at the hospital from blood loss, but they were able to revive him.
Awwww, no Jim Neighbors.
Sadly, only 13 of the 33 drivers are American.
Turned on tv to the Indy right after I cam home from church.
Nice, clean race so far.
How nice of ABC to show the race in between commercials. WHAT A JOKE. OUTRAGEOUS!!!
There is/was nothing more moving than over 300,000 people to silent without even being ordered...happened when they started playing taps. The entire speedway went quiet...AWESOME.
