I think that's EXACTLY what they want. They're, as they said way back when, "cruisin' for a bruisin'". Whoever puts these useful idiots up to this, Soros, the DNC, etc. are hoping and praying for that "Kent State moment". Begging for that one cop, or better yet that one White guy "clinging to his guns and religion" to step over the line and BADA BING! instant martyr. Then it's time to gather up the wreaths,flowers and teddy bears for the makeshift memorial, organize the candlelight vigil, call out the grief counselors. Next the moronic celebs send out their mindless tweets while activists and hack politicians hold press conferences surrounded by grieving family members while they make their gratuitous Trump/shitler comparisons, take cheap shots at the NRA and decry the coarseness and lack of civility in politics thanks to Trump (as if their ever WAS civility in politics to begin with). So, who's gonna be the unwitting fool who's gonna, literally, take a bullet for the team?
