On Cutting-Edge Voter Data, Trump Critically Behind Clinton
The Epoch Times ^ | May 30, 2016 | Associated Presstitutes

Donald Trump trails Hillary Clinton by months, even years, in using fast-evolving digital campaigning to win over voters, data specialists working with the GOP say.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has dismissed the science that defines 21st century political campaigns, a tool that President Barack Obama used effectively in winning two terms and the Clinton campaign has worked on for nearly a year.

And while it is too early to tell whether the late start signals trouble for Trump, it illustrates the difference between Trump’s proudly outsider campaign and the institutional knowledge within Clinton’s.

I don’t know how accurate the article’s author is, but I’d like to think Trump is using every tool at his disposal to win this race. The prevailing thought at FR is that Trump is an outsider and may not know all the slick political moves and methods...but he’s way smart enough to hire the folks that do have this knowledge.

Sorry, there is no technology, no algorithm, no high-tech voodoo that will make that shrill woman even slightly more likeable....

In Art of the Deal, Trump is very specific regarding his disdain for analytics, focus groups and consultants. He really hasn’t changed in all these years.

Good--maybe Frank Luntz will have to go and get a real job.

ORCA. It sucked. Poorly designed, poorly tested, poorly implemented.

I always wondered if Rove had a pet name for his little whiteboard

Sad, but true. This election will be the “Art of the Deal” vs. the “Art of the Steal”.

If Trump can keep Hillary and the Democrats from stealing votes by entering false computer numbers, that’s all the technology he needs. BO won because 110% of the registered vote in Black precincts across the country. I doubt Hillary can match that.

Trump is saying what many in America want said. Period....

Most of us understand if he wins the election he will face opposition we could only dream would have faced Obama....

Thank you. I agree. He will face opposition on both sides of the aisle from entrenched establishment types who will fight to the bloody end to keep their power and perks.

However, I believe that he has an advantage they do not. All he'll need to do is go in front of the camera and say "You know, we want to do x, you said you wanted me to do x, but I'm not getting any support from congress. I need the American people to contact their congressmen and let them know what you expect." or something along those lines, and watch the phone lines melt down.

So what? (if true).

They called Reagan “the great communicator”. He also went over the heads of Congress and the press, directly to the people.

Trump has shown that he will be the GREATEST communicator. The big difference is that Reagan could talk to the people, Trump is one of them.

Trump is unique because he is the billionaire common man. A complete contradiction. He isn’t “pulling it off”, it’s REAL. He loves the people at his rallies. His voters and supporters. He doesn’t identify with them, he is one of them, in his heart.

There is no one else like Trump. That is why, when it comes to Trump, “conventional wisdom” is useless.

That is why Trump will CRUSH Hillary in a landslide.

I agree that Trump should consider using all tools. But all the “analytics” in the world don’t equal charisma and the wheel of history. It’s like the old thing about money being decisive. Didn’t work for Phil Gramm in 96 or Yeb this year.

No one ever claimed analytics should replace charisma & circumstance. Only supplement it.

This is to lay down the ground work that Dems can cheat their way to a presidential victory in Nov.

Gotta start ‘em early and often.
