Personally, I think it will be The Tick:
Seriously folks, the way to handle this isn't to get mad, it's to ridicule this 3rd party effort. I'm thinking Eric Erickson is definitly Arthur (pudgy white guy):
Bill Kristol would be Chairface Chippendale--the guy that tries to write his name on the Moon and screws it up:

I’m thinking the only person with the ego, and screws loose, to do it would be Alan Keys.

Kristol is unhinged and crazy.

Kristol probably had the worst kind of Jewish mom: the one who told her son he is perfect, and will never need any improvement of any kind. Because he sure learned that lesson.
I’ve never had a fantasy of making anyone cry before, but I have one of his arrogant smirk fading slowly into a sad face.

Why I long ago stopped subscribing to the Weekly Standard, that “dinky little magazine.” Kristol is a neocon who thinks Trump will not be supportive enough of Israel. Hey, Bill, the ‘Pub primary is over; join up or shut up.

At this time, it's practically a logistical impossibility to develop a campaign structure that can get on the ballot in enough states to win the needed 270 electoral votes.
Therefore, any independent candidacy is primarily as a spoiler.
That may not be bad, if they can draw from Hillary.
This is a good time to point all of the Bernie supporters in Gary Johnson's direction. Many of them would not vote for Trump, but if they can be prevented from settling for Hillary, that would be a good thing.
