although I disagree with it, I sense this guy gets charged. Convicted is another story, but he beat this guy to death at a time when there was no threat to life and/or property. Once the assault on her stopped he had no PC to beat the guy to death. Especially in the Bronx, they’ll charge him.

He should be given extremely generous latitude. I don’t think he had done anything like that before. He could have been scared to death with an extreme rush of adrenaline, while at the same time in a rage. It is very hard to to calibrate a response when you suddenly have all that going on inside your head.
The “gone overboard” and “proportionate response” standards are textbook concoctions of libtard lawyers who love to see as many criminals go free as possible. This kind of response is actually good for a civil society. It makes the pond scum think twice before putting their depravity into action. This husband should be treated as the hero that he is.
