In late October 1969, Richard Nixon took out one of his famous yellow legal pads to jot down some thoughts. The new president was faced with serious global and domestic turmoil. The Soviet Union had initiated a nuclear buildup, the Middle East was aflame (some things never change), and the war in Vietnam raged on. At home, the war drove hundreds of thousands of protesters into the streets, convulsing a nation already seething from the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. and a growing countercultural movement.
Mr. Nixon reached for a way to calm the roiling waters and to buy time for his new policies detente with the Soviet Union, rapprochement with China, a new approach to prosecuting the war to be established and implemented.

Yu meen he’s another Nixon?
Apparently. But what they really want to know is did this stick, or slide off the wall?
Through the past 50 years, our House of Represenatives and Senators have congealed into one party...if you look at the way this resent slate of candidates were set up, Bush was suppose to run again The Butcher of Benghazi, but when he was so ‘low energy’ he couldn’t get any where, then they pumped up Cruz, and that didn’t work either, this was the whole plan, both Bush, Cruz and Hillary are all one in the same...globalists; neo-cons; CFRs; New World Order, all under the United Nations...
Then along came Trump and he threw the baby out with the bathwater and their ‘plan’ was torn apart...
Now what we have to do, as American Voters, is to get Trump into office, along with not re electing any of the ones running, if they have been in office for over 8 years, vote them out and try the new ones...we need to split the Rats from the ‘Gutless Rats’ (Republican Party) and rebuild our government again...
This is the only way we can get OUR Country back again...

I know signage means nothing, but Proclamation is important. This weekend I saw a Trump yard sign and two Trump bumper sticks on I-70 as well as an “I vote NRA”. Surprisingly, didn’t see a “Feel the Bern” or a “Get Hillary to the Hospital on the Right” anything.
The summer of 1980. Christopher Cross was on the radio. “Airplane!” was the big summer movie. And Jimmy Carter was expected to easily win re-election against that reckless cowboy with the big mouth.
