If these are paid protestors, why are they even considered to be protestors? They're paid actors in a staged performance. Isn't anyone staging a performance supposed to have appropriate permits and be responsible for those whose safety might be impacted by the show? Don't they have to put up money and prove that they're insured before they put on their performance?
If self-employed, did these actors yay their taxes? Were they EVerified before they were employed? Did the employers discriminate? Do actors in a performance have any right whatsoever to attack those passing by?
I would think that since this was a performance without the permits, the mayor and police chief had an absolute obligation to disperse them and apply applicable laws to those who planned this.
More like a crime syndicate RICO should apply to this
All your questions are certainly valid. I have to probe further and say that with these paid protesters performing violence, that is organized thuggery. The payer of these thugs is just as liable (not a lawyer, just play one on TV). And in my view, just as deserving of a legal smackdown.
They seem to fall within the DOJ’s definition of Domestic Terrorist.
I like the way you think.
Just as likely someone picked up a bunch of day laborers and paid them cash to protest, telling them lies about Trump’s beliefs on the way.
Since the protesters are tactfully approved they don’t need no stinking permits.
The going rate for protesters is $15.00 an hour. They work as “independent” contractors. They get paid when the job is done and only pay taxes if they report it. They are in my experence paid by check. Still unless someone turns it is hard to trace.
