I was hoping Bernie would go to Philadelphia with a majority of the pledged delegates, only to be screwed out of the nomination by Hillary's superdelegate advantage. The resulting propaganda opportunity would have been sweet (and the insurance companies could bandage up the Philly property owners). But, sigh, it looks like Hillary has won her party's nomination fair and square. So, no popcorn for Philly!

I watched a few talking heads discuss that and they concluded he didn’t attack Hillary on her “vulnerabilities” because the Democratic base doesn’t care about treason, espionage, or corruption. I have to say this squares with my observations of the liberals I’ve been exposed to lately. For example, they either didn’t know about the email scandal, or consider it a Republican plot.
I still firmly believe he is a useful tool for us, a wedge that we will drive into the heart of the Democrats.
We only need the Berners to stay home; in fact we only need about 1 out of 5 Berners to do that, and the race is ours.

What happened to Bernie in California? I checked to recent polls last night and all of them had that race close, almost tied. So how is it Bernie got blown out last night like he did?
His main tactical mistake was not hitting her harder and he never should have conceded the e-mail issue early on like he did. Trump was right on that point right then and said Bernie had blown it on that important issue.
I think Hillary had something on him - - there were a couple of times during debates when she gave him the, “YOU BETTER NOT GO THERE” look... And he would back off.

Gee, Bernie sounds like Mitch McConnell but with more “rage”, but in the end, both caved like a house of cards when faced with a strong opponent (Hillary; Obama and Obamacare).
Perhaps they should both retire together to some rainbow commune in Vermont and commiserate each other till the end of time. I’ll buy them a bottle of Ripple and Cheese/crackers.
