Tuesday .... Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump began his general election pivot by going on the offense against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, adding that she "turned the State Department into her private hedge fund."

Trump said, "Hillary Clinton turned the State Department into her private hedge fund. The Russians, the Saudis, the Chinese, all gave money to Bill and Hillary and got favorable treatment in return. It's a sad day in America when foreign governments with deep pockets have more influence in our own country than our great citizens. I didn't need to do this. It's not easy, believe me. I didn't need to do it, but I felt I had to give back to our wonderful country, which has been so good to me and to my family."

I saw Hillary on CNN and they were quizzing her about Trump’s coming assault on the Clinton Foundation, and getting her response out there. CNN is still dwelling on the judge business. Of course, we all know that the judge flap was designed to distract attention from the Mexican flag waving, American flag burning mobs assaulting Trump supporters.

It’s about time someone went there, and went there directly. All the conservative commentators just diddle around the fringes.

I guess this line of attack has been long planned as a major part of the campaign. Initially, I thought that there might have been better sounding names than “Crooked Hillary,” I was wrong. I didn’t realize this thrust was coming, and the name was advance artillery, softening up the ground.

It’s not going to be a “my honorable rival and I differ on this issue” type of campaign. They are each going to go for the throat and call the other unfit. Unfit temperment was in fact Hillary’s opening salvo. Donald’s going to go after character, honesty, and past experience.

After he accuses her of charity tax fraud and influence peddling, five will get you ten he shifts to her lying to the families of the four Benghazi dead.

But, Democrats are so ignorant and tribal. Will they listen even a little? Not many.

Every aspect of the Bill Clinton presidency must be examined for wrongdoing. Recent news reports say the notoriously greedy Clintons used their tax-exempt Clinton Foundation charity to setup a Romney-like money-making private equity fund in the corrupt country of Colombia.

Why Colombia?

The Clinton-era appropriations for his Colombia Plan made Colombia the third largest recipient of foreign aid from the United States at the time.

04/16/2008 report----Former President Bill Clinton has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars speaking on behalf of a Colombia-based group pushing the trade pact, and representatives of that organization tell The Huffington Post that the former president shared their sentiment.

In June 2005, Clinton was paid $800,000 by the Colombia-based Gold Service International to give four speeches throughout Latin America. The organization is, ostensibly, a development group tasked with bringing investment to the country and educating world leaders about the Colombia’s business opportunities.

The group’s chief operating officer, Andres Franco, said in an interview that the group supports the congressional ratification of the free trade agreement and that, when Clinton was on his speaking tour, he expressed similar opinions. “He was supportive of the trade agreement at the time that he came, but that was several years ago.

In the present context, I don’t know what his position would be. It is not only about union trade rights. It is about what benefit or damage it can do to the US economy,” said Franco. “Events with the Clinton campaign [concerning Mark Penn] are not good at all for the trade agreement... Right now it became a campaign issues and that is sad, because it needs to go through.”

The comments were supported by a June 23, 2005 article from the news portal Terra (uncovered by Ben Smith at Politico) in which Clinton offered unambiguous support for the free trade agreement with Colombia.

They appear to be the first public indication that Clinton has, at least in the past, supported the trade deal. But evidence that the former president has been sympathetic to Colombia’s position is widely known. In 2007, Clinton met personally with and accepted an award from Colombia’s controversial president, Alvaro Uribe, during a time when the country was attempting to improve its image within the United States.

Subsequently, Clinton urged Congress to view the country in a more favorable light.

Moreover, Clinton has helped Frank Giustra, one of the biggest donors to the Clinton Global Initiative, score meetings with high-ranking Colombian officials. As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

The NY Times reported the "Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership" collected about $33 million US tax dollars from Hillary's State Dept between 2008 and 2013.....$25 million of which was passed back across the border to the US-based Clinton Foundation.

Giustra then pledged $100 million to the Foundation after Clinton helped him clinch the mega-bucks uranium deal.

ITEM---millions of dollars and 1,100 donors are shrouded in mystery in the Canadian Giustra/Clinton operation. The Clinton Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Obama White House agreeing to reveal its contributors every year. The agreement stipulates that the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative (as the charity was then-known) is part of the Clinton Foundation and must follow the same protocols.

SURPRISE: It hasnt.

Caught w/ his pants down, Giustra/s backtracking like crazy---saying Canadas federal privacy law forbids the Canadian-registered Clinton charity, from revealing its donors.

A memo he provided news organs cites fiduciary obligations to its contributors and Canada’s Personal Information Privacy and Electronic Disclosure Act. “We are not allowed to disclose even to the Clinton Foundation the names of our donors,” Giustra says.

However, Canadian tax and privacy law experts were dubious of the Clinton/Giustra claims. A former director knowledgeable about tax policy at Canada's Department of Finance, said he wasnt aware of any tax laws that would prevent the Clinton charity from releasing its donor names. "There's nothing that would preclude them from releasing donor names. It's entirely up to them."

Fox/s Krauthammer said some of the 30k emails Hillary deleted from her private email server very likely had references to the Clinton Foundation, which would be illegal and a conflict of interest.

Here's a concise summary the Clinton Foundation's tax free international money laundering scheme:

1. First, create a separate foreign “charity.”.......this one's in Canada.

2. Foreign oligarchs and governments then donate to this Canadian charity......over 1,000 ontributed mega millions out of the goodness of their hearts expecting nothing in return. (Imagine Putin’s buddies deciding to send untold millions to a Canadian charity).

3. The Canadian charity then bundles the separate mega-donations and makes one massive donation to the Clinton Foundation.

4. The Clinton Foundation and the cooperating Canadian charity claim Canadian law prohibits the identification of individual donors. (Canadian officials dispute the claim)

5. The Clinton Foundation then “spends” some of this money for legitimate good works programs (observers believe not more than a measly 10%). The rest goes to enrich the Clinton’s, for salaries paid to untold numbers of political factotums, hangers on, and to fund the Clintons' lavish lifestyle, travel, etc...... all tax free, which means you and I are subsidizing it.

6. The billion dollar Clinton Foundation can hire the world’s best accountants but somehow fails to report much of this funding on their tax filings. They allude to them as“clerical errors” and announce they are they are-filing 5 years of tax returns.

7. Include as a principal mining investor Frank Giustra, Clinton/s globe-trotting crony, who is central to the formation of Uranium One, the Canadian company that somehow acquired massive U.S. uranium interests and then sold them to an organization controlled by Russia.

Net result — foreign money goes into the Clinton’s pockets tax free and is untraceable to the original donor.

This is the textbook definition of money laundering. Now you know why Hillary’s destruction of 30,000 e-mails was a risk she was willing to take.

CHILLING THOUGHT---The Clintons could be back in the White House in January, 2017 unless people are informed. So inform and educate them.

I hope Trump hits hard on the likely connection between the deleted emails and the Clinton Foundation. I haven’t heard anyone ask her what I would consider to be campaign-ended question: “Were your emails related to the Clinton Foundation considered work-related (and thus saved) or private (and thus deleted).”

I’m sure she’d try to weasel out of that question, but if pinned, I have to assume that they were considered “private” and thus deleted. So then it would not be “yoga classes”, but now it’s the juiciest part of the whole story: what was she promising in return for the donations while she was Secretary of State? And emails are two way communications, so no matter what, they’re recoverable. Let’s spend the next five months talking about that!
