The Clinton university scandal
New York Post ^ | 6/12/2016 | Post Editorial Board

Kudos to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley for asking why the media aren’t asking about the $16.5 million paid to Bill Clinton by Laureate International Universities.

For all the hundreds of stories on Trump University, nothing’s been written about the huge payments over 2010-2014 to the potential future first gentleman to serve as “honorary chancellor” of the vast for-profit education firm.

Nor about the $55 million that Hillary Clinton’s State Department sent the way of groups run by Laureate founder Douglas Becker — who happens to be a major donor to Clinton campaigns and the Clinton Foundation.

One Laureate component, mostly-online Walden University, even faced its own class-action lawsuit. In that, as Turley notes, “Students alleged that they were repeatedly delayed and given added costs as they tried to secure degrees, leaving them deeply in debt.”

Perhaps it was all on the up and up — though “honorary” jobs rarely pay $4 million a year, and Bill did quit just before Hillary began her latest presidential run.

But you’d expect a genuinely nonpartisan press to at least ask about it.

Every time someone brings up anything at all about Trump University or the racist judge presiding over the case, Trump ought to bring this up.

Another Clinton Crime Family Syndicate enterprise.
The MSM ignores it. Bill got $16 million dollars to be the so called “Chancellor.”

they need to throw a party for all the employees of the clinton crime family foundation. Send out nice RSVPs. Hold it at a great venue where surely they will come. And arrest them all after they come through the door.

Well, there were the White House lawn Easter Egg hunts. But maybe you had to pay to get your kids admitted... In that case, fun times would be had by all. Was it John Huang who said the White House is like a subway? You have to put in tokens to get in.

The title wa “honorary chancellor”. Which means he didn’t have to actually do anything for the money. Well, nothing except to make sure that money kept flowing from the State Dept to Laureate University.

WOW - to be a fly on the wall of a New York Times Editorial Board Meeting while they tell each other why 'this is different' and they don't need to cover it...

Oh - and thanks Jonathan Truley... you're a class act...

Money laundering describes all these funky Clinton connections and associations.

The Clintons tend to buy and own their friends, to inject their friends into financial crimes and scandals, thereby remaining free to implicate their friends, in the event the “friendship” should in the future, shall we say, “wane”.

No telling of the real starting point of this money, laundered through University Kukumonga, in the form of “Laureate”, for Blow Boy Clinton, to the tune of millions.

I mean, LOL!!

Democrat voters are such patsies. It would be thought hilarious, if it were not truly so deadly.

Who knew being an Honorary Chancellor was such a great job? Or even a job that you get paid for?

Laureate Education is a for-profit education firm; ex-Pres Clinton is a paid honorary chancellor.

This organization has some unusual practices.

For instance, its students serve as telemarketers who pitch the school to prospective new students. It operates in at least three countries (Turkey, Mexico and Chile) where for-profit universities are illegal, author Schweizer notes.

Douglas Becker (a FOB), runs the for-profit university, which engages Bill Clinton to give speeches several times a year. Based on Clintons gargantuan fee scale, that works out to Pres Bill getting perhaps $1 million a year from Laureate, Clinton Cash author Schweizer estimates.

(NOTE On falsified disclosure forms, Pres Bill revealed only that he has been paid more than $1,000 by Laureate.)

Becker also runs a related nonprofit, International Youth Foundation, which coincidentally found its federal grant money has exploded (according to author Schweizer) since Hillary became secretary of state (in 2009) and Bill became honorary chancellor of Becker/s profit-seeking company.

Many of International Youth Foundation grants came from tax dollars---from a State Dept agency---USAID.

Then SoS Hillary took official control of USAID, a move that dramatically reduced its independence, Clinton Cash author Schweizer says.

THIS--Bill Clinton Bagged $16.46 Million from For-Profit College as State Dept. Funneled $55 Million Back
Breitbart ^ | June 3, 2016 | Stephen Bannon / fr Posted by COUNTrecount

Hillary Clinton has launched a desperate attack against Trump University to deflect attention away from her deep involvement with a controversial for-profit college that made the Clintons millions, even as the school faced serious legal scrutiny and criminal investigations.

In April 2015, Bill Clinton was forced to abruptly resign from his lucrative perch as honorary chancellor of Laureate Education, a for-profit college company. The reason for Clinton’s immediate departure: Clinton Cash revealed, and Bloomberg confirmed, that Laureate funneled Bill Clinton $16.46 million over five years while Hillary Clinton’s State Dept. pumped at least $55 million to a group run by Laureate’s founder and chairman, Douglas Becker, a man with strong ties to the Clinton Global Initiative. Laureate has donated between $1 million and $5 million (donations are reported in ranges, not exact amounts) to the Clinton Foundation. Progressive billionaire George Soros is also a Laureate financial backer.

As the Washington Post reports, “Laureate has stirred controversy throughout Latin America, where it derives two-thirds of its revenue.” During Bill Clinton’s tenure as Laureate’s chancellor, the school spent over $200 million a year on aggressive telemarketing, flashy Internet banner ads, and billboards designed to lure often unprepared students from impoverished countries to enroll in its for-profit classes. The goal: get as many students, regardless of skill level, signed up and paying tuition. (Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...

AND THIS---Clinton Foundation Donor to Pay $95.5 Million Settlement to Justice Department
(out of a total $11 billion tax dollars The Education Management Corporation received)

Free Beacon | 11/16/15 | Brent Scher / FR Posted / by Libloather

A for-profit educational corporation that has donated to the Clinton Foundation agreed to pay $95.5 million to the Obama administration as a settlement for a government lawsuit alleging that it was using illegal tactics to lure in prospective students.

The Education Management Corporation was sued by the Department of Justice in 2011 for multiple recruitment violations, including paying its recruiters based on the number of students it enrolled, and exaggerating the career opportunities that were available to graduates. The lawsuit argued that the violations made the corporation ineligible for the $11 billion in state and federal financial aid it has received since 2003.

On top of the $95.5 million settlement, the group also agreed to forgive more than $100 million in loans it made to former students, according to the Associated Press. (Excerpt) Read more at freebeacon.com ...

I would respectfully request Trump that he lay off the Mexican judge, and instead counterpunch Clinton on their university “issues”, which are degrees of magnitude more serious than Trump’s, as the Clintons’ involve misuse of taxpayer money and kickbacks.

If Trump bring this up EVERY time a reporter asks about Trump University, it will gain traction. Who needs the liberal press to do so?
