I am conflicted on Common Core - against it because the current regime and Washington liberals are usurping state and community control over education.

Separate from the ham handed implementation, I do think the goals of common core are laudable in terms of creating a more workforce-ready citizenry in a rapidly changing 21st century and for trying to bring some accountability to the powerful education unions.

Anything barfed up by the central socialist government is dangerous to the minds and souls of our children.

There is NOTHING good about Common Core.

The bottom line of common core? Data mining from womb to the tomb. Techies put a lot of this together to gather all kinds of data on children and their families.

Michelle Malkin has written several excellent articles on Common Core.

Then there is this teacher who got involved in writing common core. . . .http://libertynews.com/2015/03/video-dr-david-pook-admits-he-wrote-common-core-to-end-white-privilege/
