Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) says he be may be “open” to placing new gun controls on law-abiding citizens following the terror attack on Pulse Orlando. According to CBS News’s Steven Portnoy, McConnell has a meeting with FBI director James Comey and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson on Wednesday. Portnoy Tweeted that McConnell has signaled he may be willing to consider new gun controls after that meeting.

The suspected gunman in the Orlando attack passed background checks for his guns, submitted to a waiting period before picking up his handgun, and held a Florida Security Officer license and a Statewide Firearms License. There is no word on what additional gun controls McConnell might be “open” to discussing.

“In 2013 I published a follow-up called EXTORTION, which argued that members of Congress from both parties were in the habit of ‘extorting’ campaign contributions and other favors from businesses and out side groups. Money flowing into politics was not just about outside interests trying to ‘bribe’ politicians; politicians were knowing putting outside interests in a position where they had to buy ‘protection’ from them. I also released to the public for the first time the ‘party dues’ lists whereby politicians were required to pay a certain amount of money to their party in order to obtain seats on certain congressional committees. The more important the committee, the more you were expected to pay. I further explained how politicians from both parties were using leadership PACs to feather their own nests, tapping those funds to pay for things that enhanced their own lifestyles”....Clinton Cash page 4

So am I. The 4473 needs a new line: Are you a Muslim or supporter of Black Lives Matter?

Did he say anything about limiting the number of people coming into the country from the Middle East, at least those that are 18 to 25 and male?

Another red flag here that McConnell (R-K Street) will cave on SCOTUS after the primaries are over.

I’m open to post-Orlando McConnell control.

He can still speak in public, but he’ll have to prove he’s mentally competent first, and he can only speak five words at a time. No high-capacity sentences!

Wow, this Orlando shooting is reaping BIg dividends for the liberals.......sympathy for the LGBT’s AND gun control, all just in time for the Presidential election. They remind me of my grandkids in a toy store.

Conservatives have no representation. The Republican party might as well disband itself. I will never give those SOBs another F’in dime.

Typical of Sen. Yertle (RINO-KY). He suffers from Nikki Haley Syndrome, a.k.a. Unilateral Cave-in.
