I worked briefly for a gun dealer.
I know that Federal Law gives you the right to REFUSE to sell to any individual if you are uncomfortable or have misigivings about them.
I had done this a couple of times. IMHO these gun stores should have used better judgment and/or walked away from the money.
Interesting. Does that mean he didn’t want to be a martyr or just wanted to buy a couple minutes to do more killing in the name of Allah?

What is suspicious when one is wearing his ‘pajamas’ in the middle of the day, and the statement “I looked into his/her eyes” comes into being because that was the ONLY skin you could see on the entire body(occasionally a hand would peek out) BUT the drivers permit was the same as what I was looking at and there was a camel and goat in the parking lot AND he wanted it delivered to the local mosque and they would meet us there.

An important point because excluding that little nugget of truth keeps the focus on gun control. The truth is in spite of all of the red flags, Mateen was under no surveillance.
The ball was dropped by the feds which is nothing “ common sense gun control” will fix.
Mr. Abell added that the store had been given a “heads up” earlier by law-enforcement authorities to be on the lookout for “suspicious people.” Mr. Abell wouldn’t specify which authorities.
This raises a few questions...
Was the "head's up" specific to Mateen?
If not, was a non-specific warning given because they knew Mateen was looking to buy guns in the area?
What did the unnamed "Law-Enforcement Authorities" know, and when did they know it?
Gun shops can not deny selling guns to people with GAY MUSLIM PRIVILEGE!!!!
