King George III had the Colonists at Lexington on a terrorist watch list. How well did that work out for the Crown?
It’s the “Law of Suspects” all over again.
Basically, during/after the French Revolution, they passed a law stripping anyone the powers-that-be didn’t like of most of their civil rights, forcing them to prove their innocence.
Didn’t work there, either.
