most folks who have been here and done that will never tell anyone that they did. like the WWII veteran who got blown up by a mortar in France after D-Day, spent a year in the hospital and would never tell anyone the harrowing story. people who claim glory and attendance are for the most part just useless gasbags.
Hubby is a Vietnam vet. Never, ever talks about it. Never has. Most people don’t even know he was a Green Beret (before they became Special Forces).
