It’s one thing to fire him, after having gotten the campaign to where it is (or was two weeks ago) but there is no need to publicize the details of the meeting, to note that he was escorted out of the building. That just is nasty to the man who did do good for the campaign. Could have been handled differently, privately.
This feels/reads like a public flogging. Totally undeserved.
