A story that’s circulating on social media and anti-Muslim and conspiracy-oriented websites is falsely claiming that three young Syrian refugees raped a young girl at knifepoint at an apartment complex in Twin Falls that supposedly is the site where about 50 Syrian refugees had been resettled – when in fact, no Syrian refugees have been resettled to Twin Falls.
The story also charges that police failed to respond to the alleged incident in a timely fashion, which local authorities also say is false.
“There was no gang rape, there was no Syrian involvement, there were no Syrian refugees involved, there was no knife used, there was no inactivity by the police,” said Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs. “I’m looking at the Drudge Report headline: ‘Syrian Refugees Rape Little Girl at Knifepoint in Idaho’ – all false.”

There was technically no ‘gang rape’ because only one of the boys was old enough to get and hold an erection.
The participants may not have been ‘Syrian’, but were muslim nonetheless.
If no Muslim refugees then why the question at the meeting about the approval for the mosque in one day or other comments about refugees they see?
If any part of the story is false, it may be the Syrian part, perhaps it was Somalis instead. Either way-there are Muslim refugees in that town in enough numbers to have a mosque. The link you posted implies that there are no Muslim refugees there which seems to be completely false, this then makes me question everything thing else in that article.

Apparently, A bunch of muslims moved into the area over the last two years, to work a large Chobani yogurt factory that opened there - the largest in the world (probably has local politicians falling over themselves to kiss up). Chobani is owned by a Turkish Kurd, who advocates accepting refugees, and offers jobs for them. Around two hundred work muslim immigrants (unclear if they have refugee status) work in the new Twin Falls factory, and many no doubt have families.
Some reports say that Twin Falls received no Syrian Refugees, but the Councillor in the video of this thread, seems to admit that the town had taken 300 refugees (not necessarily Syrian). Other sources say that about a dozen Syrians are receiving food stamps in the town, and 8 get medicare. Other sources deny that there was a knife involved, or that there was penetration.
Soooo. . .the police were involved in a no “activity” non-event, and the heavy emphasis on “Syrian” when describing the perps is clintonesque, meaning if you drop ‘Syrian’ from the report then there was a rape.
