I wish this were true but I just cannot convince myself that it is. These are government workers at the end of the day. They are not going to jeopardize their jobs and pensions.

Like the rest of the D.C. bureaucrat drones they just want to keep their heads down and their noses clean long enough to collect a pension that the rest of us could only dream of.
No one is gonna be dying on any hills over principle here.

I’m with you. At the end of the day all of these people are still federal government t employees with cushy jobs, nice salaries, and a wonderful retirement to look forward to. They may indeed despise Hillary, but they’re not giving up their cushy lifestyles.

Exactly. They might be pissed off, and maybe a couple of them will anonymously leak some details, but no one is going to risk their livelihood or pension. Government employees have a built-in conflict of interest and cannot be trusted to inform on their politician masters.
